Product Overview

Tillman 1429 Top Grain Cowhide High Utility Glove with 4″ Split Cowhide Cuff – Born to Drive. Built to Weld.
The Tillman 1429 is the 1414 with a 4″ split cowhide cuff and para-aramid thread stitching for industrial and welding applications.
- A-GRADE TOP GRAIN COWHIDE PALM — Cut from the side of the hide for uniform thickness. Side leather delivers consistent tensile strength and predictable sizing across production runs.
- KEYSTONE THUMB — Follows the natural arc of the thumb through gripping motions. Reduces seam stress at this high-wear point during repetitive gripping tasks.
- UNLINED CONSTRUCTION — No lining layer between hand and leather. Maximizes tactile feedback for precision tasks; the palm leather molds to the hand’s shape over repeated use.
- 4″ SPLIT COWHIDE CUFF — Extends coverage past the wrist to the lower forearm. Shields this area from abrasion, debris, and weld spatter.
- PARA-ARAMID THREAD STITCHING — All seams sewn with para-aramid thread. Seams are the most common failure point in work gloves; para-aramid thread resists heat and abrasion at these stress points.
- SPLIT COWHIDE BACK — Provides flexible coverage that moves with the hand for daily wear.
- DOUBLE-STITCHED FOREFINGER — Reinforced stitching at the forefinger, the point of highest friction and abrasion during tool handling and material gripping.
