Users must review and understand this User Guide and follow all instructions during garment use.

SAFETY INFORMATION

Protection Capabilities

FR garments are designed to provide protection during brief thermal exposures or electrical arc flash events. When worn correctly, this garment can help reduce the severity of burn injuries. However, no protective garment can completely eliminate the risk of burn injury in all circumstances.

Usage Limitations

This FR garment does not provide protection against:

  • Prolonged direct flame contact or sustained high heat exposure
  • Radiological hazards
  • Biological hazards
  • Chemical or hazardous material exposure

This garment is not designed or approved for firefighting operations or emergency response activities.

Garment Condition Requirements

The protective performance of FR garments depends on proper maintenance. Do not wear garments that are:

  • Soiled or contaminated with flammable substances
  • Torn, damaged, or showing signs of deterioration
  • In questionable condition

Clean garments according to the care instructions in this guide. Contact John Tillman Co. customer service if you have concerns about your garment’s condition.

Customization Guidelines

Any labels, emblems, or trim added to this FR garment must comply with NFPA 2112 requirements. Non-compliant additions may compromise garment protection during flash fire or arc flash incidents. Never cover, mark through, or remove certification labels or care instruction labels.
