COVID-19 Update

 March 24,2020

Like you, we have spent the last several weeks learning about Coronavirus, COVID-19, and how it is impacting our local communities, our state, our nation and our world.

For over 90 years, balancing our customers and employees’ needs has been at the heart of what we do, and it is this core value of the John Tillman Company that continues to guide our actions in addressing this challenging new threat.

It’s an unprecedented time that has disrupted business operations, our education systems, our communities, and our workplaces.  In the face of uncertainty, and as the situation continues to evolve, we would like to reassure you that the health and well-being of our team members and community is our top priority and foremost concern.

We have taken the recommended and necessary safety and hygiene measures for the Tillman team members at all our locations nation-wide.   We have made arrangements for our employees to work remotely wherever possible. Immediate action was taken to protect our team members by eliminating all nonessential domestic business travel and conducting customer and vendor partner meetings remotely.

On March 19th, 2020, the Governor of California has placed a mandatory stay home order for all Californians.  All nonessential businesses have been ordered to shut down until April 19th, 2020.  Tillman is considered an essential business and will stay open for business and continue to operate.

We will continue to work and ship out of our national locations and we continue to receive orders and ship orders daily without interruptions.

We are all members of the same community and we are confident we will get through this pandemic working together.  In the meantime, our heartfelt appreciation extends to all those on the frontline in the US and the world working to contain COVID-19.

Please stay well,

The John Tillman Team
